Saara J. Pekale, Partner

Ms. Pekale, a partner in the firm since July 2004, joined Fogel & Cohen in December 2000 as an associate after practicing with Carlton Fields in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Bleakley Platt Remsen Millham & Curran in New York City. She is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey.

She received her J.D. degree in 1994 from Boston University School of Law where she was managing editor of the Probate Law Journal. Ms. Pekale received her B.A. in political science and art history from Duke University in 1991.

Ms. Pekale concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, including title insurance and title-related issues; corporate and business Law; commercial and residential leasing and landlord/tenant matters; homeowner's and condominium association law; and commercial and Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) and 504 loans. She is a Certified and Designated Closing Counsel for SBA 504 Loan Transactions.

Ms. Pekale is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and a Board Member of Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), where she has served as President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Legal Counsel. She also serves on the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee for the Del Prado Elementary Parent Teachers Association, where she is currently the President. Ms. Pekale resides in Boca Raton with her family.
